So here it goes!..This is where I'll hopefully make you think that sort of know what I'm doing. I promise it will only get better from here & I won't constantly make you look at pictures of clothes on a mannequin forever! I'm hoping to sucker my sister into modeling for me for next weeks blog. I know how annoying it is to only get to see pictures of the clothes and not the clothes on a real person..Like I said, it will get better! In the meantime, bear with me.
The first thing that I decided to style three ways is something that I am almost positive everyone has in their closet; the plaid button down or flannel. I thought this would be an easy piece to start with since it is so easy to wear and can be dressed up or down.
I first paired the button up with the little black dress, which is something almost everyone has (if you don't have one, I strongly recommend ours - it has pockets!). I tied it at the waist so it looks a little neater. I always try to pair something flowy, like the dress, with something a little more fitted that accentuates the waist. Which is exactly what the tie at the waist does here.
Secondly, I paired the top with a graphic. This makes the button up a little more casual and relaxed. This is my favorite way to wear it! I am extremely matchy-matchy and have to have the same color somewhere in both tops, but I'm kind of crazy. This black and white button up would be fun with a pop of color in a graphic too! I love this look best with a pair of skinny jeans and flats or boots.
Lastly, I paired the top with our olive vest, which is amazing. This vest is a customer favorite and an awesome staple to have in your wardrobe. It comes in navy too! With this look I buttoned the shirt almost all the way up and threw the vest on over it with a statement necklace. It's fashionable and easy. I like this look with a black legging and boots or skinny jeans and boots or flats (I recommend our loafer ).
There ya have it. My first real blog post where I am not saying thank you or how I can't blog. These will get better and more interesting as I go. Hopefully, I can figure out how to make them look cooler or something because this layout is kind of boring, right? And hopefully you like it! I know I struggle with how to pair things that I've had forever, so hopefully this will help you figure out new ways to wear your clothes. If not, just buy all new stuff...Actually, just skip the part where I tell you to revive your old stuff, and just buy all new stuff @ Oh Style ;)..Only teasing.
Thanks for reading! Check back next week for a better blog.
